I am grateful to have had an amazing career as a school counselor and administrator. Working in the field for 25 years has taught me what is needed to help others; empathy, effective listening skills, and knowledge. Harnessing these strengths, I decided to try my hand at coaching and received my certification through the Health Coach Institute (HCI). To be an effective coach, one needs to stay on the client’s map. Coaching is all about helping clients find what is realistic and doable for them in creating sustainable change. Coaching isn’t about telling someone what to do, it is helping guide the client to tap into their inner voice which holds the answers.

Caregiving coaching is especially close to my heart as I know first hand what it is like to have had a parent be diagnosed with dementia. Watching someone you love be impacted this way, takes a mental toll. My 12 week program Care for Caregivers will give you simple and easy stress management techniques, direction to help your loved one, and support in dealing with the grief the diagnosis of dementia and Alzeheimers can bring.
